Today’s dose of light humor comes courtesy of footy hard man and ex-Wimbledon midfielder Vinnie Jones. One of football’s most hated has come up with a rather novel fitness regime.

It’s actually quite simple. You hire Vinnie to be your personal trainer, he chases you down and once within reach beats the hell out of you. Weight loss is achieved through the combination of three factors. First, you will receive an intense cardio workout as you attempt to evade Vinnie’s grip. Second, the raw adrenaline and overwhelming fear cause your body to lose considerable fluids. Third, following sustained injuries to the head and neck, the act of eating provides more pain than pleasure.

Clearly Mr. Jones has developed a highly effective workout and while we’re always on the look out for extreme training regimes, in this case we’ll just stick to running in the park and cutting out sweets.

“I’m gonna kick your fat arse into shape.”

  3. I just saw Vinnie in this horrible new film called "Year One." At least he's still got his sense of humour.
