Terry Speaks: City Weeps

Terry Speaks: City Weeps

It’s official! Mr. Chelsea wants to remain at Stamford Bridge. Amidst incessant rumors linking the player with a move to Man City, John Terry has finally broken his silence. Published on the club’s official website, JT’s press release is a hokey, badge-kissing monologue professing his undying love for all things Chelsea. Giving a thumbs up to the club’s future aspirations, Terry finishes the announcement by declaring his intention to remain in West London effectively ending Manchester City’s hopes of sealing his signature.

But what convinced Terry to stay in West London? Was it the realization that Chelsea boasted better European prospects? Or, that moving during a World Cup year was far too risky an endeavour? Perhaps it was simply a quiet word with Hollywood funny man and Blues fanatic Will Ferrell that did the trick. Sporting an afro that Florent Malouda would be proud of, Ferrell’s impersonation of a Mancunian accent combined with endless Man City cracks look to have brought the Essex boy back on side.

Ferrell and Terry crack a wry smile before the Inter friendly

Prior to the Inter friendly, Ferrell seals Chelsea deal for Terry?
