Since manager Sam Allardyce has been away from Ewood Park recovering from a heart operation, Blackburn have picked up their first away points of the season in a 2-0 win at Bolton, beaten Chelsea in the Carling Cup and now matched Liverpool pound-for-pound in a well earned 0-0 draw. Although Allardyce was in the stands against the Reds, could his return to the dugout next week at Hull prove to be a step in the wrong direction?
