Fifteenth Week Conclusions in the Premiership

City draw days return. In a weird weekend of draws, with 6 out of 10 fixtures resulting in tied scores, it’s no surprise to see Man City get in on the act. While it’s been only a week since City beat Chelsea at the Eastlands, breaking their then record run of 7 straight league draws, memories of that magnificent day must seem a million miles away for Mark Hughes. Having finally received a smidgen of media respect following successive victories over Arsenal and Chelsea, Hughes is back under pressure with the tricky Christmas period on the horizon.

Scolari haunts the bridge. There was something uncomfortably familiar about Chelsea‘s 3-3 draw with Everton on Saturday. While Blues fans can stomach theĀ  loss of their side’s perfect home record, it is the manner in which they let slip their first points at Stamford Bridge that will have them scratching their heads.
