Many people – including Americans themselves – assume that soccer isn’t big in the U.S. That’s because in a country with such successful professional sports leagues, Major League Soccer isn’t one of them. But how many countries are there in the world that are full of football-hungry fans, yet have no decent domestic league of their own with which to feed themselves?
