When word of Mark Hughes‘ dismissal hit the airwaves following City’s victory over Sunderland, it wasn’t the sacking that had everyone rubbing their eyes. It was the speed in which the Welshman had departed and his successor Roberto Mancini had arrived that had fans and pundits scratching their heads.
