Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid Sets Off Domino Effect

Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid Sets Off Domino Effect

No doubt Jose will try to recruit some of his former favourite pupils for his Madrid adventure. After rebuffing Mourinho‘s advances a couple of years ago, surely protégé Frank Lampard will not be able to resist his former master’s overtures again. A £25 million bid should be enough to prise him away from Chelsea.

The Blues, in turn, will want to solidify their midfield and should be able to snatch Steven Gerrard from Liverpool for £40 million. Look for Liverpool to sell their other star player, Fernando Torres, to Barcelona for £60 million. With the newly-signed David Villa making up the other half of this lethal new Spanish strike force, Barcelona will be willing to part ways with Zlatan Ibrahimovich, who’s off  to Manchester City for £45 million. City will then sell Stephen Ireland to Liverpool for £12 million, Em Adebayor to AC Milan for 20 million, and Shawn Wright Phillips to Arsenal for £8 million.

The question, of course, is whether Arsenal then will be willing to let Cesc Fabregas leave for his boyhood club. But the summer is long, and there is plenty of time for more twists and turns in that transfer saga.

Will Mourinho and Lampard finally re-unite at the Bernabeu?

Will Lampard be able to resist Mourinho and Madrid?
