The End of the Road for Craig Bellamy?

Bellamy‘s recent revelations that Roberto Mancini has ignored him for the past six months don’t sound like the best use of the Welshman’s ability although  we’re only hearing half of the story. Bellamy’s football gift has never been disputed but it is his career-long struggle to suppress his massive gob that has seen him play at more clubs than Peter Crouch on a stag do. This last snub by Mancini is particularly poignant as Bellamy‘s place has been gifted to Robinho (who spent the second half of last season at Santos.)

For some household names it’s going to be a nervy month. By the end of August, clubs must confirm their 25-man squad for forthcoming Premier League season. The transfer window has only a few weeks to run but that might not matter for Craig Bellamy.
